Anonymous asked: Also, a lot of people are genderqueer (they don't fully identify as either men or women), and if a female-bodied genderqueer individual got pregnant and didn't want to be, they would fall under the umbrella under "not cis woman" wanting an abortion.
This is true too. I’ll edit.
Under what circumstances would a non-cis woman need access to an abortion?
Keep in mind, I’m speaking as a cis woman here, so I could be wrong on a few things. But I’m trying my best, and want to be corrected if I’m wrong.
I believe you mean a trans* man. A non-cis woman probably doesn’t have a uterus. But trans* men, genderqueer people who can get pregnant, and cis women can all experience unwanted pregnancy under the same circumstances: financial difficulties, being too young to raise child, issues of social shaming for being pregnant outside a committed relationship or marriage, pregnancy from rape, etc. There is also something called gender dysphoria, and I imagine that a lot of trans* men would experience this while pregnant.
If you believe in killing babies, not giving people a chance to live, or making people die because of your mistakes then abortion is for you.
Everyone should follow this blog for teaching lulz. But oh my god, American students are this ignorant. Just. What.
Most women having abortions (61%) already had at least one child, including 34% who had
two or more children.

hermione-j-snape asked: I just want to say, I'm not pro-choice because I believe abortion is right. I think it is wrong, but I also believe that I can't make that choice for someone else. It is my choice to not get an Abortion. Also If we make Abortion illegal a young girl will choose to get an abortion and won't have the option. So she go to some hack who will preform the operation in a unsafe manner and possible kill the girl the process. So Legal Abortion is the best way to regulate it and keep it safe. Thank you :)
And this, my friends, is how pro-life should be done. Making abortion illegal and leaving thousands to die as a result ain’t pro-life.
submission from hausofmyzaree
Even if you grant an embryo or fetus personhood, no person has the right to use another person’s body as sustenance against their will. Are we all murderers if someone needs a blood transplant, or a spare kidney, and we did not provide it? It’s interesting that you don’t see pro-lifers putting their energy (and money) into a new way to abort that spares the life and grows it separate for the mother. Then again, you see so few of them adopting too.
Thanks for the submission! Very well put.
If you are looking through google for information on the wonderful invention known as Plan B, Emergency contraception or the Morning After Pill-
avoid Morningafterpill.org, which comes up on page 1 of ‘morning after pill’ searchesIt is a actually a Anti-Abortion, Anti-Contraception site meant to shame women into thinking they are ending human life by using any method of emergency birth control. It is run by Catholics and gives an EXCESSIVE amount of misinformation about Plan B, going as far as to inform women they are Killing their child and this is simply not true.
Need a reputable site for Emergency Contraception info?
My Favorites currently are:
- Emergency Contraception - Princeton University Site
- Planned Parenthood - The Morning After Pill
- Emergency Contraception - Women’s Health
Please feel free to add your favorites!

Anonymous asked: Sorry, I just left the Sanger/voting message. I was kidding – pointing out the logical fallacy.
Okay, gotcha. Sorry.
Anonymous asked: If abortion should be outlawed because Sanger was a racist, should women not be allowed to vote because a lot of the (white) women who fought for suffrage were racist?
… What? When did I list Sanger being racist as a reason abortion should be allowed? Abortion should be allowed in a safe and legal setting because people will die when it’s illegal. End of story. Bringing up Sanger here is a red herring and an example of the genetic fallacy.
I’m Pro-Life. That being said I know that no woman wants to have an abortion. Nobody walks into a bar and screams “Bartender! Shots on me! My girl Jenny had an abortion today! Jello-O shots!!” It’s a sad and unfortunate decision that often leaves the woman in pain, anguish and sometimes dead.
But after researching the history of abortion and a program called Eugenics,I changed my stance from Pro-Choice To Pro-Life.
I don’t look down my nose on anyone who had an abortion. I don’t support those nut jobs who bombs abortion clinics and assassinate doctors ago preform them. I have anger on those behind the scenes who continue to take advantage of people who have little to no income, a low level of education and or no options.
Please do your homework on Margaret Sanger the woman who started Planned Parenthood who was a member of the Eugenics movement. She’s right up there with Hitler. She had no regard for minorities and little regard for her own race. I shake my head. Every race should know about her.
Congratulations. You’ve just regurgitated 100% bullshit that you’ve been brainwashed to believe. How does it feel?
“Every race should know about her.”
“Every race”
“Every race”

[Image: animated gif of a black woman in a cowboy hat saying, “That’s some white nonsense.” End description.]
This entire OP. All white nonsense. You have to be drowning in white privilege and unable to swim to spout out shit like this.
How dare you compare Sanger to the man who slaughtered my people? Really, how fucking dare you? I’ll be the first to admit Sanger was far from a perfect human being, and may indeed have been racist, but she still made very important strides for women’s* rights, and that on its own cannot be discounted.
You anti-choicers do not get to appropriate and abuse the histories of marginalized groups throughout history in order to further your agenda. It’s racist, anti-semitic, and misogynistic as hell.
