abortion trans* lgbt no uterus no opinion

Anonymous

I was wondering where trans* women and sterile women stood on the abortion debate? Isn't the argument usually like "no uterus, no input"? I'm just new to the debates and very confused on the matter.

I don’t know. You’d have to ask a person who’s actually trans*. But since trans* women don’t have uteri, I’m pretty sure “No uterus, no opinion” still applies.

That phrase, though, it doesn’t really mean that you aren’t entitled to an opinion on abortion if you don’t have a uterus. It just means that if you don’t have a uterus, this issue does not directly affect you, and you shouldn’t be trying to make decisions for people who do. Our uteri don’t get in the way of thought.
