Unless you were raped, or an Incest victim. there is no fucking reason to get an abortion. thats bullshit.
First - Pregnancy is preventable. There’s condoms, Birth control, They even have BC for guys.
Second - You decided to have condom-less, BC-less sex.
Third - If you aren’t married, why the fuck are you having sex?
If murder is illegal, why is abortion legal?

- Not necessarily. And mind your privilege. This is one you might not think of immediately, but I can’t use the cheapo condoms because I’m allergic to latex. Polyurethane condoms are more expensive and harder to find, and using lambskin ones is just asking for herpes. No thanks. That’s ableism. Also, not everyone has equal access to birth control and condoms. Many people seriously cannot afford them, and teens are often denied birth control prescriptions by holier-than-thou pharmacists. That’s ageism and… damn, is there a word for prejudice against the poor?
- Because I fucking like to. Marriage isn’t a fucking license. Marriage also doesn’t occur in nature. Why is it that you can only have sex when you’re married and with the person you’re married to? Don’t tell me what to do with my life and my vagina.
And there are plenty of reasons to get an abortion that don’t involve rape or incest. If you want to continue your education, having a child at a young age is basically not an option. If you’re shit poor and can’t dish out half a million dollars over eighteen years, that’s a good reason too. If you don’t think you deserve to be punished for having sex without the intention of reproducing, and you accidentally end up pregnant, then that’s a good time to get an abortion. If the pregnancy becomes life threatening to the biological mother’s health, that, too, is a good reason to terminate.
Since you make “the rape exception”, you obviously care about the women’s experiences here, so let me ask you this: do my experiences as a college student stricken with financial hardships not matter? If I were to end up accidentally pregnant tomorrow, should I really have to sacrifice my future dreams for a simple mistake?
Abortion is not murder. It’s self-defense. It’s defense of one’s bodily domain. One’s reasons for aborting are none of your business. Stop with this holier-than-thou, slut-shaming attitude and think about less privileged people for a moment.
